Koerner has more than 25 years of experience and research, worldwide patents, and customers in 50 countries worldwide.
The metal pickling plants planned and delivered by Koerner comply with the statutory requirements in Germany in which the German Water Resources Act (WHG) is an important foundation.
Koerner has been a specialist in terms of the German Water Resources Act § 19/1 for 20 years. This gives its customers the security of knowing that only qualified personnel are entrusted with the execution of critical assembly tasks. Such tasks include acid protection work in the collection pit for example, the erection of the pickling tanks, assembly of the pipework for acids and so on.
Regular TÜV inspections of our production sites as well as our construction sites document the compliance with these quality standards.
Other Koerner products, like for example the concrete coatings for collecting pits with the "KVK Laminate" brand and others, have design approval in compliance with the German Institute for Structural Engineering in Berlin and also comply with the standards of the German Water Resources Act.
In addition, there are internal Koerner quality standards for production of the KVK pickling tanks that combine our decades of experience in the fields of GRP construction and acid protection.
(Regular inspections of the collection pits for acid tanks in accordance with the Water Resources Act.)
These inspections must take place at 5-yearly intervals. Koerner has the appropriate authorization to offer this service to its customers and to issue a corresponding certificate for inspections of this kind.
